- Chemical composition and mechanical properties: 5CrMnMo round steel chemical composition including carbon C: 0.40% ~ 0.60%, silicon Si: ≤ 0.40%, manganese Mn: 1.20% ~ 1.60%, sulfur S: ≤ 0.030%, phosphorus P: ≤ 0.030%, chromium Cr: 0.60% ~ 0.90%, nickel Ni: ≤ 0.25%, copper Cu: ≤ 0.30%, molybdenum Mo: 0.15% ~ 0.30%. 0.90%, Ni:≤0.25%, Cu:≤0.30%, Mo:0.15%~0.30%. After appropriate heat treatment, its NMness can reach HRC 28 - 32, tensile strength between 1000 - 1300MPa, compressive strength between 1500 - 1800MPa, with good fatigue strength and impact toughness.
- Physical properties: 5CrMnMo round steel has good NMening properties and wear resistance, can maintain high NMness and wear resistance in long time high load use, not easy to wear or failure, so as to extend the service life of the mould. In addition, it also has good thermal strength and heat resistance, can maintain high NMness and strength at high temperatures, suitable for mould manufacturing under high temperature conditions.
- Processing performance: 5CrMnMo round steel is easy to process, and can be processed into various shapes and sizes of parts through forging, rolling and heat treatment. The processed moulds have high surface finish and high dimensional accuracy, which can meet the manufacturing needs of various complex moulds.
