AR400 steel is a formable grade of wear-resistant steel. The typical NMness range for AR400 is 360-444 BHN, which is slightly lower than AR450.

 

AR400 wear-resistant steel is suitable for demanding impact, wear applications where cold bending and good weldability are important. Applications for AR400 wear resistant metal include dump body liners, hoppers, crushers, feeders, cutting edges, equipment buckets and more.
