WNM600 is a high-strength wear-resistant steel with high wear resistance and a Brinell NMness value of 600 (HBW). It is mainly used to provide protection in occasions or parts that require wear resistance to extend the life of the equipment.

The chemical composition of the alloy wear-resistant layer has a carbon content of 4 to 5% and a chromium content of 25 to 30%. The volume fraction of Cr7C3 carbide in its metallographic structure reaches more than 50%. The microNMness is HRC56 to 62. The volume fraction of chromium carbide is The NMness is HV1400~1800. Because carbides are distributed vertically in the direction of wear, even compared with cast alloys of the same composition and NMness, the wear resistance is more than doubled.
