Galvanized Steel Flat Bar Product Description
Galvanized flat steel is an A36 hot rolled mild steel bar that is hot dip plated using a zinc rich galvanizing process. Galvanized flat steel is a lower-cost alternative to stainless steel that provides up to 30 years of rust protection while maintaining comparable strength to a durable NM surface coating.
Galvanised flat bar can be cut, machined or welded by the usual methods of regular steel, but adequate ventilation should be maintained to avoid inhaling fumes while heating.
Galvanized steel should be used wherever rust protection is required or where one wishes to create durable, long-lasting products and structures.
