High Strength Steel Product Description
The main standards for Japanese HSLA steel plates are JIS G3101 and JIS G3106, and GNEE can provide all steel grades and specifications under these two standards.
JIS HSLA steel plate is also called JIS standard high strength low alloy steel plate. Compared with JIS standard carbon steel material, JIS high strength low alloy steel plate has better mechanical properties or stronger corrosion resistance.
JIS alloy steel is based on iron with added alloying elements. Commonly added elements include: nickel, chromium, molybdenum, zirconium, vanadium, cobalt, aluminum, silicon, manganese, tungsten, titanium, etc. These alloying elements change the mechanical and physical properties of carbon steel, resulting in higher strength and toughness, better wear resistance, corrosion resistance, low temperature resistance and high temperature resistance.
JIS hsla structural steel can be used in cars, trucks, cranes, bridges and other structures where its high strength to weight ratio is the most cost effective.
