A709 hsla steel is the standard specification for steel bridges. Including carbon steel, HSLA and stainless steel plates, bars and profiles for bridge structures. Includes Classes 36, 50, 70 and 100 and is designated with Enhanced Atmospheric Resistance (W).
ASTM A709 low alloy steel is the standard for high-strength low-alloy steel plate (HSLA) used for load-bearing and support components in bridge construction.
