Hot Rolled Bending Q235 Q345 Ss400 St37-2 St52 130*80*2mm 160*100*5mm Black Welded Carbon C U Channel Steel

Channel steel
is a long steel strip with a grooved cross section. It is a carbon structural steel for construction and machinery. It is a steel section with a complex cross section and a grooved cross section. Channel steel is mainly used in building structures, curtain wall engineering, mechanical equipment and vehicle manufacturing.
It is required to have good welding, riveting and comprehensive mechanical properties during use. The raw steel billet for producing channel steel is a carbon steel or low alloy steel billet with a carbon content not exceeding 0.25%. The finished channel steel is delivered in a hot-processed, normalized or hot-rolled state. Its specifications are expressed in millimeters of waist height (h)*leg width (b)*waist thickness (d), such as 100*48*5.3, which means a channel steel with a waist height of 100 mm, a leg width of 48 mm, and a waist thickness of 5.3 mm, or 10# channel steel. For channel steels with the same waist height, if there are several different leg widths and waist thicknesses, a b c should be added to the right of the model number to distinguish them, such as 25#a 25#b 25#c, etc.

1.What is a channel steel?

Steel channel is a "C"-shaped hot-rolled carbon steel built with a vertical web and inside radius corners on the top and bottom horizontal flanges. Steel channels consist of a wide web and two flanges, which could be parallel or tapered.

2.What is C-channel steel?

The structural channel, C-channel or parallel flange channel (PFC), is a type of (usually structural steel) beam, used primarily in building construction and civil engineering.

3.What are the 4 types of steel?

Four types of steel: Carbon, alloy, stainless, & tool steel. Steel is a highly versatile material that can be used in various industries. Steel is typically categorized into types based on criteria like chemical composition, physical properties, and usage.

4.What grade is channel steel?

We provide channel in multiple grades, including A36, A572-50, and A992. These grades have excellent mechanical properties and suitability for different applications. The A36 grade is widely used for its welding properties and strength, while the A572-50 grade offers a higher yield and tensile strength

5.How strong is channel steel?

The yield strength of structural steel is typically between 250 MPa and 350 MPa, depending on the grade of steel used. This means that a steel channel can support heavy loads while maintaining its structural integrity. The size of a steel channel plays a vital role in its strength.
