According to the normal Larsen steel sheet pile models, there are SP-2 12 meter Larsen steel sheet pile, SP-3 12 meter Larsen steel sheet pile, SP-4 12 meter Larsen steel sheet pile, SP-5 12 meter Larsen steel sheet pile, SP-6 12 meter Larsen steel sheet pile, and other models of 12m Larsen steel sheet pile. However, currently in China, the main type of 12m Larsen steel sheet pile is SP-4 type. SP-3 type 12m Larsen steel sheet pile is not produced by domestic steel sheet pile manufacturers, and there are few imported SP-3 type 12m Larsen steel sheet piles. Because it involves the use of 12m Larsen steel sheet piles in engineering, the excavation depth is generally relatively deep, and the requirements for support strength are naturally relatively high. However, SP-3 type 12m Larsen steel sheet piles are basically difficult to meet the requirements, so SP-4 type 12 Larsen steel sheet piles are generally used in China.
The theoretical weight of SP-4 type 12 Larsen steel sheet pile is 76.1kg/m, and the theoretical weight of a single 12 meter SP-4 type Larsen steel sheet pile is 0.9132 tons. The calculation method for the theoretical weight of 12 meter Larsen steel sheet pile is: 12 meter x Larsen steel sheet pile specific gravity (according to Larsen steel sheet pile model, Charsen steel sheet pile specific gravity)=12 meter Larsen steel sheet pile theoretical weight.
The design of the ultimate limit state for the normal use of steel sheet pile retaining walls considers the deformation of the wall and soil movement, and must ensure that both do not exceed the allowable range. Compared with the soil deformation under normal use limit state, the soil deformation is much larger when the soil pressure is fully mobilized. As the force acting on the steel sheet pile retaining wall and the force in the soil are inversely proportional to the deformation of the wall, the deformation under normal use limit state is the control standard for wall balance. Although it is not possible to directly calculate the deformation of steel sheet pile retaining wall walls, the ultimate state of normal use can be achieved by controlling the degree of adjustment of the king's pressure. In actual design, a safety factor is usually introduced.
