Pressure Vessel Steel Plate Product Description
Boiler steel plates are used in the manufacture of industrial boilers. Available in various grades and thicknesses, these hot rolled steel plates are of high quality and can withstand the internal pressures of boilers and valves.
Heat-resistant steel for the boiler industry can be used to produce boiler bodies and containers, as well as storage tanks for transporting liquefied gas, petroleum products and other liquid and gaseous goods; it can also be used to manufacture accessories, valves and other auxiliary components of pressure equipment.
The main requirements for boiler plates include weldability, high strength and toughness, formability, resistance to cracking (also at negative temperatures), uniform distribution of structural components and mechanical properties throughout the thickness, width and length of the plate. Due to the increased aggressiveness of the transported substances, steel materials for pressure vessels often need to ensure resistance to hydrogen sulfide media.
