Galvanized Round Bar Products Description
Galvanized round steel refers to a solid steel strip with a circular cross-section. Its specifications are in mm diameter and the round rods have been dipped in a molten zinc coating process (ASTM A123). Hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) can be identified by its crystalline morphology, also known as the "angular shape" of the material's surface.
Hot-dip galvanized round bars are ideal for most processing techniques. Galvanized round bars are semi-rough, with dull edges and inaccurate dimensions throughout their length. Highly resistant to corrosion, ideal for outdoor use or exposed environments. Common applications include hinges, railing systems and ground stakes.
