The chemical composition of ST37 I-beams consists mainly of the elements carbon, manganese, phosphorus and sulphur. The carbon content is low, usually between 0.17 per cent and 0.20 per cent, the manganese content is less than 1.4 per cent, and the phosphorus and sulphur content is strictly limited. These components give ST37 I-beams good ductility and impact toughness, which makes them suitable for a wide range of engineering requirements.
The tensile strength of E350 I-beam is generally above 400MPa, and the yield strength is also above 350MPa, and at the same time, it has good impact toughness, which can withstand large impact loads. In addition, the steel also has good corrosion resistance, can resist corrosive media in the atmosphere, seawater and other environments.
