Alloy 80A (Nimonic® Alloy 80A) is a wrought, age-NMenable nickel-chromium alloy. Alloy 80A is similar to Alloy 75 but is made precipitation NMenable by the addition of aluminum and titanium. Alloy 80A has good corrosion and oxidation resistance and high tensile and creep rupture properties at temperatures up to 815°C (1500°F).
Alloy 80A is used in gas turbine components (blades, rings, disks), bolts, tube supports in nuclear generators, exhaust valves in internal combustion engines and many other offshore/marine, automotive and electrical applications.
