In addition to this, phosphorus is added to the 416 stainless steel round bars to improve machinability. 416 Stainless Steel Round Bar is considered a freely machinable stainless steel grade. 416 stainless steel can be NMened through heat treatment to achieve greater strength and NMness. 416 stainless steel round bars are ideal for applications requiring excellent machinability and good corrosion resistance.
