TA2 Titanium Alloy Round Bar

 

• High strength and light weight: TA2 titanium alloy has a density of about 4.51 g/cm³, which is only half that of steel, yet it is about three times stronger than ordinary steel. This allows TA2 to excel in applications where lightweighting is required.
• Excellent corrosion resistance: TA2 titanium alloy performs well in a wide range of acidic and alkaline environments, particularly in chloride-containing environments, where corrosion rates are typically less than 0.1 mm/year. In addition, TA2's passivation film is self-healing in oxygen environments, further enhancing its durability.
• Good Mechanical Properties: TA2 has high tensile strength (400-600MPa) and yield strength (300-450MPa), and good ductility (20-30% elongation), which makes it suitable for processing of complex shapes.
• High temperature resistance: TA2 titanium alloy can maintain good mechanical properties under high temperature environment, and is not easy to oxidise and thermal deformation. For example, at 600°C, its modulus of elasticity may decrease by about 10%, but it can still maintain good mechanical properties.
• Biocompatibility: TA2 titanium alloy has excellent compatibility with the human body and is not easy to cause biological reactions in the human body, so it is widely used in medical devices and implants.

• Aerospace: TA2 is used in the manufacture of aircraft structural components, engine parts, etc. to meet the demand for lightweight and high strength.
• Chemical and marine engineering: Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, TA2 is widely used in chemical equipment, seawater desalination equipment and so on.
• Medical field: TA2 is used in the manufacture of artificial joints, heart valves, dental implants and other medical devices and implants.

A: For stocks, we could transport the goods to loading port within 3 days after we received your deposit
For production period, it usually takes about 7-15 days after receiving the deposit.
