Nickel Alloy Bars Products Description
Alloy 31 is an iron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added nitrogen and copper that exhibits hybrid properties of austenitic super stainless steel and regular nickel alloys. Alloy 31 has excellent corrosion resistance to alkaline and halide-containing media, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, chlorine dioxide media, nitric acid, and reducing and oxidizing media.
It is widely used in offshore and marine industries, chemical and petrochemical processing, pharmaceutical pipelines, oil and gas extraction, and ore digestion plants. In particular, Alloy 31 can be used to create pressure vessels that can withstand a wide temperature range from low to high temperatures (-196°C to 550°C).
