Nickel Round Bar Products Description
Alloy 800 is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy with moderate strength and good resistance to oxidation and carburization at high temperatures. It is particularly useful for high-temperature equipment in the petrochemical industry because the alloy does not develop embrittlement after prolonged exposure to 1200°F (649°C). Excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking is another important property of Alloy 800.
800 series alloys (Incoloy 800, 800H and 800HT) are nickel-iron-chromium superalloys with excellent high-temperature strength and resistance to oxidation, carburization and other types of high-temperature corrosion. Meanwhile, Alloys 800, 800H and 800HT are used in a variety of applications, from furnace components and petrochemical furnace cracking tubes to sheathing for electric heating elements.
